4 years based in Vancouver Canada I worked as matte painting supervisor and concept artist for Scanline VFX working on a variety of shows. I had the opportunity to work on several A list movies, Black Panther, Independence Day, San Andreas, Guardians of the Galaxy to name a few. I continued to work for Scanline Remotely from Nairobi Kenya 2018-2023.

Based in Wellington New Zealand I spent 8 amazing years working at Weta Digital now known as Weta FX. I was Head of Department , working on some of the most ground breaking and exciting shows at the time. At Weta Digital I was part of the team that won the 2009 VES Award for outstanding Matte Painting in a Motion Picture, for our work on Avatar. My credit list at Weta, includes- Planet of the Apes, The Hobbit, Avatar, and so much more.

I spent one and a half years in Sydney Australia working at Animal Logic on Happy Feet animated feature. Working on this animated feature was a fun experience.

My matte painting journey began at Industrial Light and Magic, in San Rafael, California. It was one of the best places to learn the craft from some of the legends in the industry. It was my matte painting foundation. I worked on Star Wars -Revenge of the SIth and XXX - State of the Union.

My background is in fine art, where my artistic journey began and continues to thrive. I focus on portraits and social narratives, using my art to make sense of the world around us. I enjoy exploring the juxtaposition of different elements to create new narratives. Sometimes, simply observing and studying interesting faces can reveal numerous stories.
